Role: AWS Cloud Engineer

Cognizant is seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer for a full- time opportunity. Qualified candidates must have valid work authorization for Canada. Cognizant will not sponsor visas now or anytime in the future.

In this role, you will:
- Participate in and drive Proof of Concepts (POCs) for new cloud and GenAI services such as Amazon Bedrock, Agentcore, and related AWS capabilities.
- Conduct service evaluations and technical feasibility assessments.
- Analyze and troubleshoot platform and application issues using Amazon CloudWatch logs, metrics, and monitoring tools.
- Investigate service failures, identify root causes, and recommend remediation strategies to improve platform reliability and operational excellence.
What you need to succeed:
· Experience working with and extending enterprise CDK frameworks, including understanding and leveraging client specific CDK wrappers built on top of native AWS CDK constructs.
· Ability to design, develop, and deploy cloud infrastructure and platform services using Infrastructure as Code principles.
We are offering an annual compensation between $115,000-$122,000. Applications will be accepted until September, 14th 2026.
