About the Role
Cognizant is seeking a highly experienced Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Principal Architect to lead the design, governance, and evolution of enterprise-wide integration solutions. This role will be responsible for defining integration strategies, establishing reusable architecture patterns, and guiding project teams in delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep Oracle Integration Cloud expertise, strong consulting experience, and the ability to align technology architectures with business transformation initiatives across global organizations.
In this role you will
- Lead end-to-end enterprise integration architecture initiatives using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Define and govern integration standards, architecture principles, and reusable design patterns across projects.
- Design and maintain integration blueprints, canonical data models, mapping frameworks, and orchestration processes.
- Review and approve solution architectures to ensure compliance with enterprise standards, security requirements, and performance objectives.
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable integration solutions.
- Drive adoption of modern integration practices including API-first, event-driven, and cloud-native architectures.
- Develop and maintain enterprise integration reference architectures, reusable assets, templates, and best practices.
- Partner with data and analytics teams to align integration strategies with data governance, master data management, and analytics initiatives.
- Assess existing integration landscapes and recommend optimization strategies to improve reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Lead migration initiatives from legacy integration platforms to Oracle Integration Cloud.
- Establish non-functional requirements covering performance, scalability, resiliency, monitoring, and observability.
- Present architectural recommendations, roadmaps, and solution alternatives to executive leadership and client stakeholders.
- Mentor architects, lead engineers, and development teams on Oracle Integration Cloud capabilities and enterprise integration best practices.
- Create and maintain architecture documentation, design standards, decision logs, and implementation guidelines.

What you need to have to be considered
- Extensive experience designing, implementing, and governing enterprise integration solutions using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
- Deep expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud architecture, configuration, troubleshooting, security, and performance tuning.
- Strong experience defining enterprise integration strategies and reference architectures.
- Proven ability to design complex integrations across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.
- Experience developing canonical data models, data mapping strategies, and orchestration frameworks.
- Strong understanding of API-led connectivity, event-driven architecture, and modern integration patterns.
- Experience supporting enterprise analytics, reporting, and data integration initiatives.
- Excellent understanding of data governance, data quality, master data management, and compliance principles.
- Strong consulting background with experience engaging business and technical stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Experience leading large-scale integration transformation and modernization programs.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively within a hybrid work model and across geographically distributed teams.

- Experience within IT consulting and technology advisory organizations.
- Industry expertise supporting large-scale global enterprise clients.

Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $116,100 - $156,500, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
