Senior .NET Full Stack Developer - Remote

In this role, you will:
- Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities reported through Veracode and ensure compliance with security standards.* Enhance, and maintain applications using .NET Core, C#, and SQL Server and Angular
- Maintain RESTful APIs to support application integrations and business needs.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and fix application defects, production issues, and performance bottlenecks.
- Address code quality and technical debt issues identified through SonarQube and other code analysis tools.
- Participate in peer code reviews, resolve review comments, and ensure pull requests are approved before deployment.
- Manage source code changes, perform code check-ins, support CI/CD activities, and collaborate with deployment teams for successful releases.

What you need to have to be considered:
- Strong experience in .NET Core, C#, and ASP.NET Core.
- Hands-on experience in designing and developing REST APIs and web services.
- Proficiency in SQL Server, including database design, query optimization, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
- Experience in UI development using Blazor and/or Angular frameworks.
- Knowledge of Git-based source control, pull request workflows, and code review processes.
- Experience in identifying and fixing security vulnerabilities using Veracode or similar security scanning tools.
- Experience in analyzing and resolving code quality issues using SonarQube.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and application support skills with exposure to CI/CD and deployment processes.
Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $46K – 93,500K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
