Senior Test Manager - Oracle Fusion ERP/HCM

About the Role

As a Senior Test Manager - Oracle Fusion ERP/HCM, you will make an impact by leading the quality engineering strategy and governance for a large-scale Oracle Fusion transformation program. You will be a valued member of the Program Delivery team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, System Integrator partners, quality engineering teams, program leadership, and executive sponsors to ensure successful program outcomes.

In This Role, You Will:

Own the program-wide test strategy and release-level test plans covering functional, integration, data migration, security, regression, performance, UAT, payroll parallel testing, and cutover activities.

Define and govern quality gates, test entry and exit criteria, and provide objective go/no-go recommendations for major releases and deployment events.

Lead, mentor, and manage a blended onshore/offshore Quality Engineering team, including test managers, automation engineers, test data specialists, and performance testing resources.

Drive defect management processes, including severity classification, triage governance, service-level expectations, escalations, and root cause analysis.

Establish and maintain end-to-end traceability across business requirements, business processes, controls, test cases, defects, and validation outcomes.

Partner with business process owners, workstream leaders, and implementation teams to ensure realistic and comprehensive test coverage across complex business scenarios.

Oversee enterprise data conversion, migration, and integration testing activities across a large ecosystem of applications and interfaces.

Define and govern automation and test management strategies that support both program delivery and long-term Oracle quarterly release regression capabilities.

What You Need to Have to Be Considered

15+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Quality Engineering.

10+ years of experience leading testing efforts for large-scale Oracle ERP and/or HCM transformation programs with accountability for overall testing strategy and delivery outcomes.

Hands-on ownership of testing for at least one full Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and/or HCM implementation from design through go-live and stabilization.

Proven success leading multi-release enterprise programs spanning multiple workstreams and managing blended teams of 10+ resources.

Experience managing and governing System Integrator testing deliverables from the client-side perspective.

Strong expertise in enterprise test management tools such as Jira/Xray, Zephyr, qTest, ALM, Azure DevOps, Oracle Test Manager, or equivalent platforms.

Experience leading enterprise data migration, data conversion, reconciliation, and sign-off activities.

Experience managing complex integration testing across large-scale enterprise application landscapes.

Strong understanding of SOX compliance, IT General Controls (ITGC), Segregation of Duties (SoD), and role-based access testing.

Demonstrated ability to communicate quality risks, testing outcomes, and recommendations to executive and senior leadership audiences.

These Will Help You Stand Out

Experience leading PeopleSoft-to-Oracle Fusion migration programs.

Experience supporting Oracle Fusion payroll implementations, including payroll validation and parallel testing.

Experience within highly regulated or complex operational industries such as aviation, transportation, logistics, healthcare, or utilities.

Experience establishing and maintaining enterprise regression automation capabilities to support Oracle's quarterly release cycle.

Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion ERP, HCM, and cloud transformation delivery methodologies.

Ability to participate in onsite workshops, program milestones, and go-live activities.

Salary and Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $ 95,850 to $ 152,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
