Job summary
GeoSpatial Senior Analyst MAP will design and enhance enterprise geospatial applications using Java and Net API within a hybrid work environment. The role focuses on advanced spatial data analysis system integration and performance optimization to support strategic business decisions improve operational efficiency and enable socially impactful location based solutions for global clients.
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex geospatial data sets and transform raw spatial information into actionable insights that support enterprise planning and operational decision making across multiple business domains.
- Design and develop robust geospatial services using Java and Net API that enable reliable map visualization spatial querying and location intelligence features for internal and external applications.
- Implement scalable spatial data processing workflows that optimize performance and accuracy of map related functions while maintaining high standards of data quality and governance.
- Collaborate with product owners and business analysts to translate geospatial requirements into clear technical specifications and solution designs that align with organizational objectives and digital strategies.
- Configure and enhance existing mapping platforms to improve usability response times and functional coverage for users in different regions and business units.
- Conduct detailed code reviews and technical assessments of Java and Net components to ensure adherence to coding best practices security guidelines and long term maintainability standards.
- Coordinate with data engineering teams to define and refine spatial data models that support efficient storage retrieval and analysis of geo referenced information at enterprise scale.
- Develop and maintain automated testing scenarios for geospatial services to ensure reliability of routing distance calculations proximity analysis and other spatial functions under varied data conditions.
- Prepare comprehensive technical documentation for geospatial solutions covering architecture configuration details integration points and operational procedures to support seamless maintenance.
- Engage with cross functional stakeholders to present geospatial findings and explain how spatial patterns influence customer behavior risk exposure and resource allocation decisions.
- Monitor production geospatial systems in the hybrid work model and proactively resolve incidents or performance issues to maintain high service availability during day shift operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that leverage advanced spatial analytics to reduce operational costs enhance sustainability efforts and generate measurable benefits for society and clients.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and regulatory expectations when handling location data by applying appropriate access controls anonymization practices and audit mechanisms.
Qualifications
- Possess extensive experience in Java based application development with strong skills in building modular code and integrating complex geospatial logic into enterprise platforms.
- Demonstrate deep expertise in Net API development including creation of secure services and interfaces that expose map related functions to diverse consuming applications.
- Apply solid understanding of Net work model concepts to collaborate effectively within hybrid teams and deliver reliable solutions in a structured corporate environment.
- Bring proven background in geospatial analysis tools and spatial databases supporting tasks such as layering buffering and spatial joins for business use cases.
- Utilize strong knowledge of software engineering practices including version control unit testing and continuous integration to maintain high technical quality standards.
- Show proficiency in consuming and producing map based services using industry standard protocols and formats to ensure smooth interoperability between systems.
- Exhibit clear communication skills to explain complex spatial findings to nontechnical stakeholders and to document solution approaches in an accessible manner.
- Apply analytical and problem solving capabilities to diagnose issues in data pipelines mapping services and client applications and to implement effective corrective actions.
- Maintain awareness of emerging trends in geospatial technologies and spatial analytics to suggest enhancements that keep company offerings competitive and socially relevant.
