Job Summary
This engineer manages mobile device enrollment, application deployment, and depot inventory/logistics for Project's field and plant mobility fleet, ensuring device readiness and lifecycle compliance.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage Mobile Device Management and enrollment via SOTI & SureMDM.
• Perform application management, including .apk wrapping and deployment to managed devices.
• Administer device feature controls, profiles, and certificate management.
• Update SSID configuration across devices per TGRC guidelines and frequency requirements.
• Perform OS and security patching for mobile devices as needed.
• Manage device/asset inventory and lifecycle, including annual replacement planning for out-of-warranty devices per Project procurement/shipping/staging processes.
• Maintain inventory/stock of mobile devices at depot locations and support device procurement/stock management.
• Perform asset reporting for CMDB updates and collaborate with Infra/Depot Services on device replacements and break-fix.
• Fix connectivity issues with collaboration with N/W team.
• Collaborate with application teams to stage/pre-load applications or OS settings prior to device deployment.
• Remediate cyber vulnerabilities on mobile devices per TGRC CVSS scoring, meeting critical (90-day) and internet-connected (24-hour) remediation timelines.
Required Qualifications & Skills
• 2+ years experience with enterprise Mobile Device Management (SOTI, SureMDM, Intune, or equivalent).
• Experience with device/asset inventory management and depot/logistics operations.
• Familiarity with application packaging (.apk) and certificate/profile management for mobile fleets.
• Understanding of vulnerability remediation timelines and CVSS scoring.
• Strong organizational skills for managing physical device stock and lifecycle planning.

Job Summary

This role serves as a technical lead for end user device management across mobile desktop and Mac environments ensuring secure and efficient operations using Intune and related management platforms. The role focuses on designing policies optimizing configurations mentoring team members and driving continuous improvement in a hybrid work model with rotational shifts delivering reliable services and secure digital experiences for all users.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of end user device management strategies that ensure secure and consistent configuration across mobile devices desktops and Mac systems in alignment with organizational standards and compliance requirements
  • Oversee mobile device management operations by defining policies profiles and security baselines that protect corporate data while supporting seamless access for users across various platforms and usage scenarios
  • Provide technical guidance on Intune based device management by configuring enrollment processes compliance rules and application deployment workflows that improve operational efficiency and user satisfaction
  • Drive optimization of desktop management for Mac environments by establishing configuration standards automating routine tasks and ensuring reliable software distribution patching and inventory tracking
  • Coordinate with cross functional teams to analyze device performance issues security incidents and configuration conflicts and implement timely resolutions that minimize downtime and maintain a resilient endpoint ecosystem
  • Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation covering device management architectures operational procedures and troubleshooting runbooks that help standardize practices and support knowledge sharing within the team
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams to align device management policies with risk management objectives including encryption requirements conditional access configurations and secure remote access capabilities
  • Monitor key metrics such as compliance status deployment success rates and incident trends and use data insights to recommend continuous improvements that enhance stability security and user experience across all managed devices
  • Mentor and support operational engineers by providing structured guidance on best practices for Intune mobile device management and Mac desktop management fostering skill development and promoting consistent high quality service delivery
  • Coordinate rotational shift activities by establishing clear handover practices tracking open issues and ensuring uninterrupted support coverage that maintains reliable device management services for global business operations
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback on device performance application availability and support responsiveness and incorporate these inputs into roadmap refinements that better serve organizational priorities and user needs
  • Contribute to technology evaluation and solution enhancement initiatives by assessing new features in Intune mobile and Mac management tools and recommending adoption paths that strengthen endpoint security and management capabilities
  • Support hybrid work requirements by ensuring secure configuration of devices for both office and remote work scenarios enabling stable access to corporate resources and contributing to safer more flexible digital workplaces


Qualifications

  • Demonstrate strong hands on experience in mobile device management platforms with a proven ability to design implement and sustain secure scalable policies and configurations for diverse device fleets
  • Exhibit expertise in Intune based device management including enrollment strategies compliance and configuration profiles application deployment and integration with identity and access controls for enterprise environments
  • Apply advanced knowledge of desktop management for Mac systems including configuration management software distribution patching and user profile handling to maintain reliable and secure Mac workplaces
  • Bring practical experience in troubleshooting complex endpoint issues across mobile desktop and Mac devices using logs monitoring tools and systematic analysis to rapidly restore service and reduce recurring problems
  • Show proficiency in designing automation and scripting solutions that streamline device provisioning policy updates reporting tasks and other routine operations thereby improving efficiency and reducing manual errors
  • Display strong communication and collaboration capabilities to work effectively with operations security and support teams ensuring that device management decisions are well understood and aligned with broader technology goals


Certifications Required

Preferred certifications include Microsoft Certified Endpoint Administrator Associate or equivalent device management credential relevant to Intune and enterprise endpoint management
