Over de rol

Als Consulting Manager Mortgages maak je verschil door een afgebakende werkstroom of een kleine tot middelgrote consultancyopdracht te leiden, waarbij je bedrijfsbehoeften vertaalt naar uitvoerbare veranderingen, terwijl je de oplevering, klantrelaties en teamprestaties managed. Je wordt een gewaardeerd lid van het Banking & Financial Services (BFS) Consulting team en werkt samen met ons ecosysteem van klanten, partners, start-ups, ontwerpbureaus, en met collega’s uit andere afdelingen van Cognizant.

In deze rol ga je

• De scope, planning, risico's, kwaliteit en resultaten van de werkstroom managen.
• Discoveries leiden, processen ontwerpen, requirements verzamelen, business cases opstellen en implementaties voorbereiden.
• Adviseren hoe vernieuwde processen rondom het adviseren van klanten over woninghypotheken het best geimplementeerd kunnen worden.
• Processen beoordelen en herontwerpen, zoals advies, betaalbaarheid analyse, taxatie, acceptatie, contractering, servicing, achterstanden en aflossing. Dit doe je voor verschillende leningen, zoals nieuwe hypotheken, buy-to-let, herfinanciering, en voor verschillende hypotheek vormen: lineaire, annuïtaire en aflossingsvrije producten.
• Doelstellingen vertalen naar proces-, data-, controle- en technologievereisten voor de hypotheek applicaties (origination & servicing), en het omliggende systeem landschap, waaronder CRM, workflow, documenten, API's en digitale kanalen.
• De Nederlandse en EU-context toepassen, waaronder zorgplicht voor klanten en verantwoorde kredietverlening.
• Stakeholders managen en consultants en business analisten coachen.
• Voorstellen en accountplannen vormgeven samen met account teams.
• Samen met collega’s herbruikbare oplossingen en inhoudelijke publicaties ontwikkelen.

Werkmodel

Bij Cognizant vinden we flexibiliteit belangrijk, voor zover de werkzaamheden en klantafspraken dat toelaten. Voor deze functie werk je doorgaans twee tot drie dagen per week op locatie bij een klant of vanuit ons kantoor in Amsterdam. Daarnaast bieden onze welzijnsprogramma’s ondersteuning bij een gezonde balans tussen werk en privé.

Deze werkafspraken gelden op de publicatiedatum en kunnen veranderen afhankelijk van het project en de behoeften van Cognizant en de klant. We maken de verwachtingen vooraf steeds duidelijk en bespreken eventuele wijzigingen tijdig.

Jouw profiel

• Substantiële relevante ervaring in banking of financial services consultancy, business analyse en/of transformative, waarbij je verantwoordelijk was voor complexe anaysis en de afstemming met verschillende stakeholders.
• Aantoonbare ervaring met het leiden van werkstromen en multidisciplinaire teams.
• Diepgaande functionele kennis van hypotheken, waaronder producten, klantreizen, processen, operating modelen, economics, controls en wet & regelgeving.
• Ervaring met end-to-end businessanalyse en het vermogen om, onafhankelijk van een specifieke technologie, capabilities, gevolgen voor de architectuur, integraties, beheersmaatregelen en niet-functionele eisen te beoordelen.
• Sterke advies-, analyse-, workshop-, presentatie- en stakeholdermanagement-vaardigheden, en het vermogen om bedrijfsprocessen te verbinden met datavereisten.
• Mondelinge en schriftelijke beheersing van het Engels.
• Een bachelor- of masterdiploma in bedrijfskunde, finance, economie, technologie of een gerelateerd vakgebied, of gelijkwaardige professionele ervaring.

Wat je meebrengt

• Ervaring met Nederlandse of Benelux financial-services-organisaties en kennis van het Nederlandse toezichtlandschap en relevante EU-regelgeving voor hypotheken.
• Begrip van moderne BFS-technologielandschappen, waaronder core platforms, workflow, integratie, cloud, data, analytics, automatisering en digitale kanalen.
• Sterk in het op een gestructureerde wijze oplossen van problemen, workshopfacilitatie, executive storytelling, business cases, roadmaps en change-delivery-methoden.
• Het vermogen om processen te verbinden met data eigenaarschap, data kwaliteit, data lineage, privacy, controls, rapportage en migratievereisten.
• Het vermogen om stakeholders te managen binnen business, operations, risk, compliance, finance, data, architectuur, engineering en partners.
• Comfort met werken in een Nederlandse, op consensus gerichte omgeving en in hybride internationale teams.
• Bereid om te reizen naar klantlocaties in Nederland en de Benelux.

About the role

As a Consulting Manager, Mortgages, you will make an impact by leading a defined workstream or small-to-medium consulting engagement, translating business needs into implementable change while managing delivery, client relationships and team performance. You will be a valued member of the Banking & Financial Services (BFS) Consulting team and work collaboratively with our ecosystem of clients, alliances, start-ups and design agencies, and clients.

In this role, you will

• Own workstream scope, plans, risks, quality and outcomes, and lead discovery, target-process design, requirements, business cases and implementation readiness.
• Advise clients across residential mortgages, buy-to-let, refinancing, interest-only and annuity products, assessing and redesigning processes covering advice, affordability, valuation, acceptance, completion, servicing, arrears and redemption.
• Translate objectives into process, data, control and technology requirements across mortgage origination and servicing, CRM, workflow, documents, decision engines, APIs and digital channels.
• Apply Netherlands and EU context, including Dutch mortgage practices, customer duty of care, responsible lending and conduct risk.
• Manage day-to-day stakeholders, coach consultants and business analysts, and support proposals, account plans, reusable assets and thought leadership.

Work model

What you must have to be considered

• Substantial relevant experience in banking or financial-services consulting, business analysis or transformation delivery, including demonstrable experience leading workstreams and multidisciplinary teams.
• Deep functional knowledge of mortgages, including products, customer journeys, operating models, economics, controls and regulatory drivers.
• Ability to perform end-to-end IT business analysis: problem framing, stakeholder analysis, requirements elicitation, process modelling, user stories, acceptance criteria, traceability, testing support and business readiness, applied in a technology-agnostic way across capabilities, architecture, integration dependencies, controls and non-functional requirements.
• Fluency in both Dutch and English, written and spoken.
• Bachelor or master degree in business, finance, economics, technology or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

These will help you succeed

• Experience with Dutch or Benelux financial-services organisations and knowledge of the Dutch supervisory landscape and relevant EU regulation for the subdomain.
• Understanding of modern BFS technology landscapes, including core platforms, workflow, integration, cloud, data, analytics, automation and digital channels.
• Strength in structured problem solving, workshop facilitation, executive storytelling, business cases, roadmaps and change-delivery methods.
• Ability to connect processes with data ownership, quality, lineage, privacy, controls, reporting and migration requirements, and to manage stakeholders across business, operations, risk, compliance, finance, data, architecture, engineering and vendors.
• Comfort working in a Dutch consensus-oriented environment and in hybrid international teams, with willingness to travel to Netherlands and Benelux client locations.
