As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Consulting Manager with deep expertise in Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and Power Platform to join our Microsoft Business Group consulting team.

About the Role

As a Consulting Manager - Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, you will make an impact by helping enterprise customers improve the health, performance, security, and long-term sustainability of their Dynamics 365 and Power Platform environments.

This is a client-facing advisory and assessment role focused on evaluating existing implementations, identifying technical risks, and providing strategic recommendations aligned with Microsoft best practices. You will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to improve platform governance, operational excellence, security, and application performance.

You will be a valued member of the Microsoft consulting team and collaborate with customer leadership, solution architects, administrators, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-value technical assessments and modernization recommendations.

In This Role, You Will

  • Lead technical assessments of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and Power Platform environments, evaluating architecture, configuration, integrations, environment strategy, and operational maturity.
  • Assess security models, including Business Units, security roles, teams, user permissions, and governance controls, recommending improvements aligned with least-privilege and compliance principles.
  • Identify risks, performance issues, technical debt, misconfigurations, and platform governance gaps across Dynamics 365 CE, Dataverse, customizations, integrations, and Power Platform solutions.
  • Provide strategic recommendations aligned with Microsoft best practices for Dynamics 365, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, platform governance, and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).
  • Develop customer-facing assessment reports, executive summaries, remediation roadmaps, and modernization recommendations that improve long-term platform success.

What You Must Have to Be Considered

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and Power Platform technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering technical assessments, advisory engagements, or consulting services for enterprise clients.
  • Advanced expertise in Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, including Sales, Customer Service, and Field Service modules.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Platform administration.
  • Experience assessing and optimizing Dynamics 365 security models, including Business Units, security roles, teams, and user permissions.
  • Proven ability to identify technical risks, platform governance gaps, performance challenges, and remediation opportunities across Dynamics 365 and Power Platform environments.
  • Experience evaluating operational processes, environment health, monitoring practices, incident management, and governance frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), solution management, deployment pipelines, and environment strategy.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical findings into actionable business recommendations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.

Required Certifications

  • PL-7003: Power Platform Model-Driven App Certification.
  • MB-910: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Fundamentals (Customer Engagement Apps).
  • MB-280: Dynamics 365 Customer Experience Analyst or MB-240: Dynamics 365 Field Service Functional Consultant.

These Will Help You Succeed

  • 7-10+ years of experience in Dynamics 365, Power Platform, CRM transformation, or enterprise technology consulting.
  • PL-200: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate certification.
  • Additional Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Power Platform certifications.
  • Experience designing and evaluating Major Incident Response Plans (MIRPs) aligned to operational SLAs and business continuity requirements.
  • Deep understanding of platform governance, environment management, compliance, and enterprise CRM modernization strategies.
  • Experience with integration architecture, APIs, and complex enterprise application ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks such as ISO 22301, NIST SP 800-34, or SOC 2 Type II.
  • Experience supporting clients within regulated industries, including Financial Services, Healthcare, or Government sectors.
  • Experience contributing to proposals, client pursuits, solution development, and business growth initiatives.
  • Experience mentoring consultants and supporting knowledge-sharing across delivery teams.

Salary and Other Compensation

· The annual base salary for this position is $81,000 - $129,000, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors.

· In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for discretionary bonuses and other compensation incentives based on individual and company performance.
