Job Summary

This hybrid AI augmented software development engineer in test role focuses on designing and executing high quality automated test solutions using AI test generation tools and Selenium with Python for airport operations and airline systems. The candidate will ensure robust functional and regression coverage improve test efficiency through intelligent automation and contribute to safer and more reliable digital travel experiences for passengers and airline crews by preventing defects in critic


Responsibilities

  • Design and implement comprehensive automated test suites using AI test generation tools to validate complex workflows in airport operations and airline platforms and ensure high reliability of critical business functions.
  • Develop maintainable Selenium Python frameworks that cover user interface and end to end scenarios across web based airline applications in a hybrid work model while maintaining strong collaboration with distributed teams.
  • Execute data driven and scenario based tests tailored to airport check in boarding baggage handling and flight management processes to reduce defects that could impact passengers and operational staff.
  • Analyze AI generated test cases for accuracy relevance and coverage and refine test sets to optimize execution time while preserving sufficient validation of safety and compliance related functionality.
  • Collaborate with product owners business analysts and domain experts in airline operations to translate requirements into robust automated test designs that prevent defects from reaching production systems.
  • Investigate test failures in Selenium Python environments by performing root cause analysis in close coordination with developers and operations teams and propose targeted fixes that improve application stability and customer trust.
  • Integrate automated tests into continuous integration pipelines and monitor execution trends during day shifts to identify early warning signals of quality issues before major airport or airline releases.
  • Create reusable test components using AI test generation tools and Python utilities to accelerate automation coverage for new airline features and minimize manual regression effort for the quality team.
  • Review and enhance existing test assets for airport operations modules to remove redundant cases improve clarity and ensure that test outcomes directly support operational efficiency and passenger experience goals.
  • Document detailed test results and quality metrics that clearly communicate risk levels to stakeholders and help drive informed deployment decisions for mission critical airline applications.
  • Collaborate in hybrid meetings and remote working sessions to align on test strategy share domain insights in airport operations and refine automation priorities that support company wide digital transformation initiatives.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by evaluating emerging AI testing approaches and proposing practical enhancements that increase defect detection rates and reduce time to validate complex airline journeys.
  • Support cross functional quality initiatives that strengthen resilience of airport and airline systems thereby contributing to safer more predictable travel experiences and reinforcing the company commitment to societal mobility.


Qualifications

  • Demonstrate strong hands on expertise in AI test generation tools with the ability to configure models interpret generated test artifacts and align outputs to real world airport and airline use cases.
  • Exhibit advanced proficiency in Selenium and Selenium Python including page object patterns synchronization strategies and robust error handling tailored to high volume web applications.
  • Apply solid understanding of airport operations such as passenger processing gate operations baggage flows and turnaround activities to design tests that reflect true operational scenarios and constraints.
  • Show proven experience in airline domain processes including reservations ticketing schedule changes and disruption handling to ensure that automated tests validate end to end business continuity.
  • Utilize practical knowledge of continuous integration and test reporting tools to integrate automation suites monitor results and communicate quality trends to engineering and business stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills through consistent ability to interpret complex defects reproduce edge cases and collaborate on sustainable resolutions in a hybrid working environment.
  • Display clear communication and documentation skills that enable effective sharing of test strategies findings and domain insights with diverse global teams and support collective quality ownership.
