SAP Production Planning (PP) Senior Consultant
About the role
As a SAP Production Planning (PP) Senior Consultant, you will make an impact by optimizing manufacturing and production processes through innovative SAP solutions. You will be a valued member of the Manufacturing and Supply Chain team and collaborate with production, planning, and IT stakeholders.
In this role, you will:
- Lead SAP PP solution design and implementation for manufacturing processes
- Configure production planning, MRP, capacity planning, and shop floor control
- Work closely with MM, QM, and WM modules for integrated solutions
- Support production system issues and continuous improvement initiatives
- Facilitate client workshops and drive requirement gathering
Work model
We strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. This is a hybrid role requiring 2–3 days per week in a client or Cognizant office, subject to project needs.
Work arrangements may evolve based on client and business requirements.
What you need to have to be considered
- Extensive experience in SAP PP configuration and implementation
- Strong knowledge of MRP, production planning, and manufacturing processes
- Experience in end-to-end SAP project lifecycle
- Integration expertise with MM, WM, and QM modules
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
These will help you stand out
- Experience with S/4HANA PP
- Knowledge of advanced planning tools (PP/DS)
- SAP PP certification
- Experience in global manufacturing environments
