Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Dynatrace Consultant to join a large-scale global data platform programme within banking environment in Zurich. This role combines hands-on technical delivery with advisory responsibilities, enabling organizations to implement modern observability practices and fully leverage their Dynatrace investment.
Key Responsibilities
- You will set up and manage Dynatrace across application performance monitoring, infrastructure monitoring, real user monitoring, and log analytics to ensure full-stack visibility.
- You will design and configure dashboards, management zones, alerting profiles, and custom metrics aligned with business objectives and service level agreements.
- You will integrate Dynatrace with enterprise systems, including CI/CD pipelines, ITSM tools such as ServiceNow and Jira, as well as data and analytics platforms like Trino and Dataiku.
- You will conduct performance baseline assessments, support capacity planning activities, and proactively identify potential issues before they impact business operations.
- You will assess current-state environments and define future-state improvements, including clear recommendations supported by cost-benefit analysis.
- You will act as an advisor to stakeholders by providing guidance on observability strategies, best practices, and maturity roadmaps.
- You will troubleshoot and resolve complex performance issues across distributed systems and microservices architectures.
Your Profile
- You bring hands-on experience working with Dynatrace in enterprise environments and have a strong understanding of modern observability practices.
- You have solid knowledge of cloud-native architectures and microservices, as well as performance engineering concepts.
- You are experienced in integrating monitoring tools within DevOps and CI/CD environments.
- You are familiar with enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow and Jira, and have exposure to data and analytics ecosystems.
- You demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate technical findings into business-relevant insights.
- You communicate clearly and confidently in English, and knowledge of German is considered an advantage.
- You ideally have prior experience within banking or financial services environments.
