Job Summary
Serve as a senior learning management systems functional specialist for a global organization owning complex configurations optimization and governance of Absorb and Cornerstone On Demand platforms to enable scalable digital learning. Partner with business and manufacturing stakeholders to translate training needs into effective LMS solutions that elevate workforce capability and operational excellence across hybrid work environments.
Responsibilities
- Manage end to end functional configuration of Absorb LMS and Cornerstone On Demand LMS to ensure reliable delivery of digital learning programs across a global hybrid workforce.
- Coordinate with business and human resources stakeholders to gather learning requirements and translate them into scalable LMS workflows that enhance employee capability and compliance.
- Optimize course structures curricula certification tracks and learning plans within both LMS platforms to improve learner engagement completion rates and reporting accuracy.
- Administer user roles groups and permissions in Absorb and Cornerstone On Demand to maintain secure controlled access that aligns with organizational policies and audit needs.
- Configure and support integrations between the LMS platforms and enterprise systems such as HR tools content repositories and communication channels to streamline data consistency and reduce manual efforts.
- Monitor system performance usage analytics and learner feedback to identify functional improvements create enhancement roadmaps and drive continuous optimization of LMS features.
- Develop and maintain standardized processes for content publishing catalog management version control and archival to keep learning offerings current and aligned with business priorities.
- Collaborate with instructional designers and subject matter experts to advise on LMS best practices ensuring that course designs leverage platform capabilities such as enrollments notifications and assessments.
- Provide advanced functional support by troubleshooting complex LMS issues performing root cause analysis and coordinating with vendor support teams for timely resolution.
- Create and deliver targeted training and job aids for administrators instructors and learners to improve adoption reduce support tickets and empower self service usage of LMS features.
- Document functional configurations governance rules and change procedures in a clear reusable format to support audits knowledge transfer and long term system sustainability.
- Align LMS functionality roadmaps with industrial manufacturing training needs where applicable ensuring that operational safety quality and regulatory learning requirements are robustly supported.
- Coordinate day shift hybrid work collaboration across global teams using virtual tools to ensure consistent LMS operations even when team members are distributed across locations.
Qualifications
- Apply extensive experience in Absorb LMS configuration administration and functional optimization to design reliable learning solutions that scale across diverse business units.
- Use deep Cornerstone On Demand LMS expertise to configure learning objects assignment rules evaluations reporting and compliance workflows in accordance with organizational standards.
- Draw on professional background spanning eight to twelve years in LMS functional roles to manage complex requirements prioritize enhancements and deliver predictable outcomes.
- Leverage understanding of industrial manufacturing processes and environments when available to tailor learning structures that support safety productivity and technical skill development.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills to interpret learning data identify trends recommend system improvements and clearly communicate insights to business stakeholders.
- Employ effective communication and collaboration capabilities to work with cross functional teams administrators and vendors within a hybrid work model without requiring travel.
- Utilize solid knowledge of enterprise systems integrations single sign on and data flows relating to LMS platforms to support secure efficient connectivity and reporting.
Certifications Required
Preferred certifications include Absorb LMS Administrator Certification and Cornerstone On Demand Certified Professional or equivalent LMS accreditation.
