SAP Transport Management (TM) – Senior Consultant
About the role
As a SAP TM Consultant, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of Transportation Management processes within SAP TM, with focus on planning, execution, integration, and freight settlement. You will be a valued member of the delivery and AMS teams, collaborating closely with functional and technical teams (ABAP/BTP) across multiple regions to ensure operational stability, continuous improvement, and SLA adherence.
In this role, you will:
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve SAP TM issues related to planning, execution, charge management, and freight settlement.
- Monitor critical SAP TM processes, including:
- Freight Unit building
- Planning & Optimizer
- Freight Order execution
- Carrier tendering & response
- Freight settlement and FI/MM integration
- Identify and resolve stuck documents, such as TM integration queue issues and PPF action failures.
- Support background jobs and interfaces between TM, S/4HANA (SD/MM/FI), EWM, and external systems.
- Collaborate with technical teams (ABAP/BTP) to address interface issues, enhancements, and integrations with connected systems (S/4HANA, EWM, external carriers).

What you need to have to be considered
o Bachelor’s Degree
o Advanced English
o Background in SAP Transportation Management (TM).
o Strong hands-on experience with SAP TM Implementation and Support/AMS projects.
o Solid knowledge in Planning, Execution, and Freight Settlement processes.
o Knowledge in troubleshooting integrations with:
§ S/4HANA (sales orders, deliveries, purchase orders)
§ EWM (inbound/outbound processes)
o Strong background working in global support models, handling multi-region teams, and adhering to SLA-based engagements.
These will help you stand out
· Advanced knowledge of Charge Management.
· Background supporting month-end freight settlement and clearing processes.
· Familiarity with integration monitoring tools (queues, IDocs, CPI, PPF actions).
· Exposure to integrations with carrier systems or third‑party logistics solutions.
