We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Tester to design, develop, and execute automated test solutions that ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in working with automation frameworks, API testing, and Agile methodologies, with hands-on experience in CI/CD environments. This role requires technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Test Design & Execution:
• Design and implement automated and manual test cases for functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Execute tests and validate results to ensure product quality and compliance.
• API & System Integration Testing:
• Perform API testing using tools like RestAssured and PACT.
• Validate system integration across multiple platforms and environments.
• CI/CD & Release Support:
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Maven.
• Agile Practices:
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives).
• Contribute to PI Planning and provide accurate Agile test estimations.
• Defect Management:
• Conduct defect triage sessions, prioritize fixes, and ensure timely resolution.
• Maintain defect logs and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Certifications: ISTQB or equivalent.
• Automation & Testing Expertise: API Testing, Automation & Manual Testing.
• Programming & Tools: Java, JUnit, WireMock, Selenium, Cucumber, OpenPOJO, RestAssured, PACT.
• Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Maven, Jenkins, IntelliJ, AWS
