Job Summary
The App Security Architect will play a pivotal role in ensuring the security of applications within our organization. With a focus on ServiceNow ITSM the architect will design implement and oversee security measures to protect sensitive data and maintain compliance. This hybrid role requires a deep understanding of application security and offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on our companys security posture.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive security strategies for applications focusing on ServiceNow ITSM to safeguard sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into the application development lifecycle enhancing overall security posture.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions ensuring robust protection against threats.
- Provide expert guidance on security best practices to development teams fostering a culture of security awareness and proactive risk management.
- Design and implement security controls and protocols to protect applications from unauthorized access and data breaches.
- Monitor and analyze security incidents providing timely responses and solutions to mitigate risks and prevent future occurrences.
- Stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies applying knowledge to enhance application security frameworks.
- Lead efforts to automate security processes increasing efficiency and reducing manual intervention in security management.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define security requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and maintain documentation of security policies procedures and protocols ensuring clarity and accessibility for all team members.
- Provide training and support to staff on security tools and practices empowering them to contribute to the organizations security goals.
- Evaluate and recommend security tools and technologies ensuring optimal protection and performance for applications.
- Foster a collaborative environment where security is prioritized and innovative solutions are encouraged to address emerging threats.
Qualifications
- Possess extensive experience in application security with a strong focus on ServiceNow ITSM demonstrating a deep understanding of security principles.
- Have a proven track record of designing and implementing security measures that effectively protect applications and data.
- Demonstrate expertise in conducting security assessments and audits identifying vulnerabilities and implementing corrective actions.
- Exhibit strong collaboration skills working effectively with cross-functional teams to integrate security into the application development lifecycle.
- Show proficiency in monitoring and analyzing security incidents providing timely responses and solutions to mitigate risks.
- Stay informed about the latest security trends and technologies applying knowledge to enhance application security frameworks.
- Have experience in automating security processes increasing efficiency and reducing manual intervention in security management.
Certifications Required
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist
