Demand Generation Lead

We are seeking a Demand Generation Leader to define and execute the marketing strategy for the launch and growth of Cognizant’s AI Business Unit. This role will focus on building awareness, positioning AI offerings in the market, driving demand generation, and supporting account-based marketing activities through integrated marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate combines strategic marketing expertise with deep understanding of AI and technology trends and can translate complex solutions into clear, compelling messaging for multiple audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Go-to-Market Strategy: - Develop and execute the marketing strategy for the AI Business Unit, including positioning, messaging, and competitive differentiation. - Collaborate with AI solution leaders and industry teams to translate technical capabilities into clear value propositions for clients. - Define target markets, buyer personas, and key messaging tailored to enterprise clients across industries.
Brand & Thought Leadership: - Establish the AI Business Unit as a thought leader in the enterprise AI market. - Lead creation of content assets, including whitepapers, case studies, blogs, webinars, and event presentations. - Represent the business unit at industry conferences, webinars, and media engagements.
Demand Generation & Campaigns: - Drive demand through multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, social, events, and account-based marketing). - Collaborate with sales teams to develop client-facing presentations, proposals, and enablement materials. - Track and measure marketing performance, optimizing campaigns for lead generation and conversion.
Internal & Partner Collaboration: - Partner with internal stakeholders (AI product teams, Commercial teams, Service Lines,) to ensure alignment of messaging and campaigns. Work with technology and ecosystem partners (Microsoft, Google, OpenAI, ServiceNow) to co-market joint solutions and initiatives. - Coordinate launch activities and internal communications to educate and excite the organization around new AI offerings.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in technology, AI, or enterprise software. - Proven experience launching new products or business units, including go-to-market strategy and campaign execution. - Strong understanding of AI technologies, cloud platforms, and enterprise solutions. - Experience in content marketing, digital marketing, demand generation, and event marketing. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to simplify complex concepts for executive audiences. - Strong project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
Success Metrics: - Successful launch of the AI Business Unit with measurable brand awareness and positioning in the market. - Generation of qualified leads and pipeline contribution through targeted campaigns. - Engagement and enablement of internal teams to effectively communicate AI offerings. - Thought leadership recognition via industry publications, webinars, and speaking opportunities.
Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual base salary for this position is between $180,000 - $220,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
