Core Responsibilities

  • Implement AEP data pipelines: Sources, datasets, XDM schemas, identity namespaces, and profile stitching.
  • Configure AEP RT-CDP: Segments, audiences, destinations (e.g., email/SMS, ad platforms), consent & governance controls.
  • Build AJO journeys & campaigns: Triggers, eligibility rules, orchestration logic, templates, personalization, experimentation.
  • Integrate event sources (Streaming, batch), Edge implementations, and decisioning.
  • Establish monitoring & QA: Data quality checks, segment population, journey performance, deliverability, error handling.
  • Collaborate with QA, Analytics, and Marketing Ops; document solutions & runbooks; provide L3 support.
  • Ensure privacy/compliance: Consent, opt-outs, data retention, PII handling, and regulatory adherence.
  • Optimize performance: throughput, latency, identity match rates, and downstream activation success.

Must-Have Skills

  • Strong hands-on AEP: XDM schema design, identity resolution, profiles, segments, sources/destinations.
  • AJO: Journey design, event triggers, audience eligibility, templates, offers/personalization, throttling, frequency capping.
  • Edge Network basics and tag management (Adobe Launch / other TMS).
  • Practical experience with JSON, APIs, webhooks, and data transformation.
  • Understanding of data privacy, consent frameworks, and enterprise governance.
