Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Systems Integration Engineer to join our Quality Control team. The Laboratory Systems Integration Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring reliability and compliance of Laboratory Systems.
The successful candidate will be part of the Quality Control Lab Services Team which will support the system integration activities of both new and ongoing projects. Experience working with complex problems in a regulated environment is desirable.

Responsibilities
- Work with colleagues to analyse and integrate laboratory systems within regulatory framework.
- Author, review and approve laboratory systems documentation in line with applicable procedures and quality standards.
- Provide input to your validation colleagues during preparation of validation documentation.
- Participate in risk assessments related to laboratory systems, processes and data integrity.
- Knowledge of 21CFR Part 11 and EU Annex 11 requirements and data integrity guidelines is desirable.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective cross-functional relationships.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented and excellent organisational skills.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders both within and outside the laboratory environment.
- Support end user training.
The Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor's degree in an IT or scientific field (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Business Information Systems).
- Experience of supporting QC laboratory systems is preferred but not essential
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft® Windows Operating Systems (Windows 10/11 and server based Operating Systems)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
- Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
- Ability and flexibility to perform all other job-related and ad-hoc duties as required
- Experience in Pharmaceutical industry an advantage
- Experience analysing or integrating laboratory systems is an advantage
