The Business Analyst / Manager will play a pivotal role in driving business solutions within the Life and Annuities Insurance domain. With a focus on Business Process Modelling and Business Analysis & Planning, the candidate will leverage their expertise in Jira to enhance operational efficiency. This hybrid role requires a strategic thinker who can translate complex business needs into actionable insights ensuring alignment with company objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the analysis and design of business processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the Life and Annuities Insurance domain.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of business solutions using Jira to track and manage project progress.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on thorough business analysis and planning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of business objectives and technology solutions.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and define business needs.
  • Develop comprehensive business models that support the company’s strategic goals.
  • Ensure that all business processes are compliant with industry standards and regulations.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented business solutions to ensure they meet desired outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure understanding and buy-in for proposed solutions.
  • Support the development of training materials and provide guidance to team members on new processes and tools.
  • Utilize Life and Annuity domain knowledge to inform decision-making and strategy development.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices to inform business analysis activities.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrate expertise in Business Process Modelling and Business Analysis & Planning.
  • Possess strong technical skills in Jira for project management and tracking.
  • Exhibit deep knowledge of the Life and Annuities Insurance domain.
  • Show proficiency in translating complex business needs into actionable insights.
  • Have excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a hybrid model.
  • Display strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to drive business solutions.
  • Maintain a proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements.
