Senior Full Stack JavaScript Engineer

A Sr. Full Stack JavaScript Engineer is responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of software applications using JavaScript. This includes working with technologies such as JavaScript/TypeScript, NodeJs, Front-End Frameworks, databases and messaging systems. The Full Stack Engineer will be involved in all aspects of the software development life cycle, including requirement gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment. Strong technical skills and experience with both front-end and back-end development is essential for this role. Good knowledge of DDD design patterns, CQRS, Clean architecture are mandatory. They will also be able to collaborate with other team members, including other engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participating in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-up meetings, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborating with other team members to gather and understand requirements for new features and enhancements.
  • Developing and maintaining front-end web components using React, Typescript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Designing and developing software using NodeJs, GraphQL and/or alternative JavaScript frameworks and middlewares.
  • Building and consuming RESTful web services and APIs.
  • Writing unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality and maintainability.
  • Participating in code reviews and providing feedback to other team members.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging issues.
  • Continuously improving the software development process and practices.
  • Communicating with stakeholders and other team members to ensure project goals are met.
  • Keeping up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends to improve the software and the development process.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Master of Science
  • 4-5 years experience in software development
  • Good knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript,
  • Good knowledge of NodeJs, React, HTML/CSS, SQL

Nice to have skills:

  • CI/CD Pipelines, Message Brokers, ORM, GraphQL

  • Special kudos points for knowledge of vanilla javascript, V8, WebAssembly and others

  • The salary range for this position is from 4.485 to 5.950 EURO gross before taxes.*
    *Salary offer for the candidate is determined based on the predefined salary ranges for the position and depends on the level of competence and experience of the candidate.
