Job Description.
- Transition:
- Work as the Transition Manager for outsourcing engagements
- Manage internal / external client relationships during various stages of the transition
- Follow the Cognizant Transition Methodology to successfully transition projects within the agreed timelines
- Perform due diligence, put together detailed transition plans and ensure successful execution as per the timelines
- Manage multiple transitions at the same time
- Project Reporting – to internal and external stakeholders
- Others:
- Ability to work with multiple internal and external stakeholders as a team to deliver objectives
- Act as a Transitions Subject Matter Expert (SME) while designing client solutions and process re-engineering exercises
- Behavioral Skills (Attitude, Aptitude & Abilities):
- Demonstrated ability in verbal and written communication to large groups and senior staff
- Ability to achieve ‘win-win’ outcomes. Effective negotiation and influencing skills with senior management
- Strong analytical skills, good judgment, tact, flexibility, organization and planning skills
- Ability to work in high paced, challenging environment
- Proficiency in setting and meeting realistic deadlines to achieve desired/meaningful outcomes
- High attention to detail
- Willingness to travel frequently (both within India and abroad)
- Technical Skills (Tools, Technical Knowledge, Certifications etc.):
- Strong in MS Project, Visio, MS-Excel, MS-Office
- Strong Project and process management experience at managerial level in Outsourcing environment
- Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g. Six Sigma) desirable
- Experience in US Healthcare, Insurance projects will be an added advantage
