About the role

As a .Net Solution Architect you will make an impact by leading end‑to‑end solution architecture including application design, integration patterns, and deployment strategy. You will be a valued member of the Cognizant team and work collaboratively with managers, co workers and clients.

In this role, you will:

  • Act as the primary onsite technical lead and point of contact for client architecture and design discussions.
  • Lead end‑to‑end solution architecture including application design, integration patterns, and deployment strategy.
  • Translate business and functional requirements into high‑level and low‑level technical designs.
  • Define and enforce architecture principles, coding standards, and best practices across teams.
  • Guide offshore and nearshore development teams on design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
  • Review code, design artifacts, and solution implementations to ensure quality and scalability.
  • Drive API and integration architecture using REST, Web APIs, and microservices patterns.
  • Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and Release teams to support CI/CD, UAT, and production rollouts.

What you need to have to be considered

· Must have strong hands‑on expertise with C#, .NET Core Framework.

· Must have strong experience with hosting web applications on AWS Cloud

· Must have experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.

· Must have experience designing RESTful API and integrations

· Front‑end exposure to Angular

· Database experience with Microsoft SQL Server or PostgreSQL

· Familiarity with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines

· Should be able to design Disaster Recovery solution

· Solid understanding of design patterns, SOLID principles, and enterprise architecture practices

Work model: Onsite

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is an onsite position requiring 5 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Stamford, CT.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until March 6, 2026.

The annual salary for this position is between $110,000- $130,000 USD depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
