About the role
As a Talent Partner – India, you will drive impactful contributions and focus on outcomes. You will be a key member of the Human Resources team, collaborating with the Talent Partner Head, business leaders, employees, and HR teams including International HR, Immigration, and Payroll. You will support the execution of the business unit talent agenda by assisting with employee engagement, HR operations, life-cycle processes, and day-to-day HR support for assigned groups.
In this role, you will:
· Provide HR support for Manager and below associates by assisting with both strategic and tactical HR initiatives for assigned business units.
· Support the team in building effective working relationships with leaders and employees while helping address HR and business-related issues.
· Assist with retention and engagement activities, including retention proposals, associate discussions, town halls, pulse checks, manager huddles, and virtual engagement initiatives.
· Support HR operations by assisting associates with location or country-specific operational activities and helping coordinate day-to-day HR services.
· Contribute to frontline manager enablement and career management activities by supporting manager programs, career conversations, reporting, and follow-up actions.
· Provide support for employee life-cycle processes such as merit increase, incentive administration, allowances, and YER grievance-related activities.
· Manage employee queries and issues related to BAU processes, initiatives, projects, and life-cycle events through objective and effective coordination.

· Prior exposure to HR operations, employee engagement, or life-cycle support activities.
· Ability to support reporting, follow-up actions, and process coordination with attention to detail.
· Interest in developing broader HR business partnering capability over time.
Work model – Onsite

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is an onsite position requiring presence for 5 days in a client or Cognizant office across multiple locations in India.
