The HRBP - Manager role sits within Malaysia team, as a senior partner to business leaders, and the role is responsible for strategic enablement and support operational matters i.e. provide proactive day to day employee facing HR resource support to specific business practices in line with the HR strategy and business objectives.
The role is KL based and you must be willing to travel to client sites in KL from time to time.
Job Responsibilities
Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with business leaders to translate business goals into actionable people strategies and initiatives.
Support the HR Leader for a defined set of Business Units at both strategic and operational level in a fast-moving dynamic organisation.
Act as lead HR support to client groups of technology and business process professionals based at Client site while coordinating with the offshore HR team
Facilitating, coordinating, and driving HR-processes on ground based on global processes and local requirements, including cooperating with other HRBPs, colleagues in Centers of Excellence, such a Recruitment, Academy and Compensation & Benefits
Build effective relationships within the business, providing leaders with professional and proactive support.
Advise managers and associates on statutory compliance and HR best practice e.g. disciplinary, grievance, maternity etc.
Data-Driven Insights: Analyse HR metrics to provide actionable insights for decision-making ie identify trends and make recommendations on improvements to processes and practices.
Contribute to the delivery of HR implementation plans with a special focus on employee engagement
Actively support HR related projects e.g. induction, performance management, talent management.
Collaborating with an offshore administration teams to ensure a robust and smooth HR administration service is delivered to associate.
Actively support BU related projects and implementation from a people perspective
Job Requirements
Degree in HR or related discipline or equivalent.
Demonstrable experience of HR business partnering within a matrix organization on wide range of HR topics, providing expert advice to managers and employees preferably in a business process consultancy environment.
In-depth knowledge of Malaysian employment law.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
Mature and empathetic approach to managing people and information
