Job Summary

Join our multinational corporation as a Product Configurator where you will leverage your expertise in PHP Linux SQL and cloud technologies to develop deploy and maintain product configuration solutions. You will play a crucial role in enhancing retail operations through innovative point of sale system configurations and ensuring seamless data migration in a dynamic hybrid work environment. This role operates on a day shift with no travel obligations.


Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize product configuration processes by applying technical expertise in PHP and Core Java to improve system responsiveness and reliability.
  • Administer and maintain Linux servers to support configuration lifecycle and ensure high availability of services essential for retail and business operations.
  • Configure and manage MS SQL Server and Oracle databases to ensure accurate data storage and retrieval for product setup and deployment activities.
  • Develop and maintain XML-based data schemas and configurations that facilitate effective communication between various retail systems and point of sale applications.
  • Utilize xAdmin tools to streamline administrative tasks and enhance productivity in product configuration and management workflows.
  • Implement cloud computing solutions and monitoring strategies to ensure scalability and robustness of product configurator services in a hybrid work model.
  • Employ PowerShell scripting to automate routine server and service management tasks thereby reducing manual errors and boosting efficiency.
  • Analyze and integrate Splunk monitoring data to proactively identify system issues and drive continuous improvements in system performance and stability.
  • Deliver support and updates related to POS Basics and Oracle Xstore Point of Sale systems that underpin retail transaction environments for enhanced customer experience.
  • Coordinate deployment activities ensuring smooth rollout of configuration changes across multiple environments with no service disruption.
  • Perform data migration activities meticulously to support system upgrades and transition processes preserving data integrity throughout the lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve mainframe integrated system challenges ensuring synchronization between legacy and modern platforms.
  • Uphold security and compliance standards in all configuration and deployment tasks to protect sensitive corporate and customer data.
  • .Qualifications: - Require at least 5 years of hands-on experience with PHP Linux systems and relational databases such as MS SQL Server and Oracle to effectively manage configuration workflows.
  • Possess strong technical skills in Core Java XML PowerShell and cloud computing platforms relevant to product configuration and deployment automation.
  • Demonstrate understanding of retail domain concepts including POS systems data migration strategies and system monitoring for seamless integration and operations.
  • Prefer candidates with familiarity of Splunk for analytics and xAdmin for administrative automation in configuration management.
  • Adapt well to a hybrid work model with day shift availability supporting both remote and in-office collaboration and productivity.
  • No travel is required to fulfill the responsibilities of this position facilitating work-life balance and focus on system management tasks.
  • Exhibit proficient communication skills in English to engage effectively with global teams and stakeholders involved in product lifecycle management.
  • Have good knowledge of mainframe environments integration and Oracle Xstore Point of Sale systems to support technical troubleshooting and enhancement initiatives.
  • Value experience in data migration methodologies and deployment best practices to safeguard business continuity during system upgrades.
  • Show commitment to maintaining compliance with security policies and industry standards to uphold system integrity and customer trust.
  • Leverage knowledge of POS Basics and retail systems to align technical solutions with business needs and strategic goals.
  • Embrace continuous learning to stay updated on latest technologies relevant to product configuration and associated cloud infrastructures.
  • Be proactive in identifying opportunities for process improvements in configuration practices that drive operational excellence and business growth.

  • Certifications Required

    Relevant certifications include Oracle Database Administrator Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert or Cloud Platform certifications in AWS Azure or similar.
