Senior DevOps Engineer
Location: London (2–3 days per week on-site)

Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud-based solutions using AWS. You will play a key role in driving DevOps best practices, ensuring efficient deployment pipelines, and optimising cloud infrastructure to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform DevOps services on scalable cloud architectures using AWS services to meet business requirements.
Oversee deployment and management of AWS resources, ensuring optimal performance and cost-efficiency.
Provide technical guidance and support to teams in effectively utilising AWS services.
Monitor and optimise cloud infrastructure using AWS CloudWatch and other monitoring tools.
Develop and maintain automation scripts and CI/CD pipelines using AWS DevOps tools.
Ensure data security and compliance through implementation of AWS security best practices and governance.
Analyse and resolve complex technical issues and production incidents related to AWS services and infrastructure.
Conduct regular performance tuning and capacity planning to support system scalability and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve deployment processes and system performance.
Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers on AWS technologies and DevOps best practices.
Required Skills & Experience:
Strong experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, CloudWatch, etc.)
Proven experience in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code
Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar
Experience with containerisation technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar)
Solid understanding of cloud security, networking, and compliance
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
