Role Description

This “Business Analyst” position is for Legal IT division where we are looking for dynamic candidate having domain knowledge of Legal Matter Management and Legal Holds.
BA is a building block of team and key contributor towards gather business requirements, Data Analysis and coordinating with business Stakeholders who ensures and own E2E deliverables, BoW prioritization, agile practices, deliverables quality and team coordination
You will bring you domain and technical knowledge, presentation skills and positive attitude to perform this role

Location: Pune

Notice Period: Immediate, 30 and 60 days

Your key responsibilities
• Collect and define business requirements in cooperation and in association with the business area
• Understand the business flows, interview end users and write business requirements documents.
• Challenge the requirements where needed, explain these requirements to the functional analysts and quality assurance / development teams.
• Collaborate closely with functional analysts, developers, vendors and application owners as the business / functional counterpart in solution identification and estimations.
• Support creation of business cases outlining cost impacts and value drivers of proposed solutions.
• Run workshops, facilitate stakeholder engagement and build relationships and purposeful networks working collaboratively using a wide range of tools.
• Manage user acceptance testing and test case coordination with the business. Participate in testing particularly in UAT. Write UAT test cases and prepared UAT test data.
• Ensure that end users and support teams are correctly trained to use solutions being delivered by the project.
• Support application services teams in functional test case generation and test result validation.
• Create training documents for end user
• Supports the providing of signoffs for business requirements
• Support implementation team and solve post go-live issues
• Provide required assistance to PO, PM, ITAO, Lead BA

Your skills and experience
Relevant Experience – 8 to 12 Years
• Must have domain knowledge of Legal Matter Management and Matters on Legal Holds lifecycle along with Custodian Notification and Interview process
• Fluency in English (written/verbal).
• Experience working with business requirements through to system level Functional Specifications.
• Experience in business analysis, data analytics and data mining
• Experience owning product backlogs, sprint planning and driving release content throughout via prioritised stories.
• Advanced analytical and problem solving experience and ability to independently identify issues grasp new concepts, provide insights and solutions and oversee their delivery.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong planning and highly organised with ability to prioritise key deliverables across several work streams.
• Excellent communication and documentation / presentation skills.
• Self-motivation and flexibility to work autonomously, coupled with the ability to work in virtual teams and matrix/global organisations including appreciation of different cultures during collaborating and sharing.
• Ability to influence and motivate other team members and stakeholders through strong dialogue, facilitation, and persuasiveness.
• Ability to act as a point of escalation for team members.
• Advanced knowledge of methods and tooling for the Business Functional Analysis Profession.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office products.
• Knowledge and experience in the usage of modern SDLC tools Jira, Confluence, SQLs
• Preferable: Knowledge of working with SaaS products
• Degree from an accredited college or university with a preference for Computer Science (or IT related).
Business Analysis certification (and/or relevant work experience).
