Digital Workplace Consultant
Permanent Employment - Oslo, Norway
Role description
We are seeking a structured and service minded consultant with a passion for improving employee productivity and experience across Microsoft 365. In this role, you will complement our contracted Digital Workplace services by focusing on adoption, guidance, and value realization—ensuring that the capabilities delivered by the Digital Workplace platform are understood, used effectively, and aligned with business needs.
You will help translate workplace needs and platform changes into clear guidance, actionable rollouts, and practical ways of working, working closely with IT and business stakeholders. While the Digital Workplace services own platform operations, support, and compliance, this role ensures that employees gain consistent, usable, and productivity enhancing outcomes from those services.
The Digital Workplace Consultant role is part of the Digital Workplace team and works closely with the End User Operations team, Digital Workplace service providers, and diverse business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
• Drive adoption and best practices for Microsoft 365 by creating and publishing practical end user guidance and communications, including guidance for emerging AI and Copilot capabilities, in alignment with the Digital Workplace service roadmap
• Produce and maintain user guides and “how we work” documentation to improve self service and reduce avoidable support demand, complementing service desk and automation capabilities
• Lead and coordinate initiatives to modernize and optimize the digital workplace from a user and adoption perspective, ensuring changes delivered by the service are clearly understood and effectively adopted
• Act as a bridge between business teams and IT by providing assistance and solutions using M365 tools and lightweight automation, without duplicating operational or platform responsibilities
Qualifications
• Practical experience with Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Exchange) and end user enablement or adoption initiatives
• Proven ability to coordinate across technical and non technical stakeholders, drive actions, and close loops in a multi stakeholder environment
• Strong written communication skills, with the ability to create clear user guidance, communications, and operational documentation
• Comfort working alongside managed services and external service providers, with a clear understanding of role boundaries and complementarities
• Good project management skills and a structured, data driven approach to driving initiatives from idea to delivery
This role complements the Digital Workplace services by focusing on adoption, guidance, and value realization, rather than platform operations or support delivery.
