About the role
As a Test Program Manager, you will make an impact by leading end-to-end testing strategy and execution for complex transformation programs, ensuring quality, risk mitigation, and timely delivery. You will be a valued member of the quality engineering team and work collaboratively with client executive leadership, business stakeholders, and cross-functional delivery teams.
In this role, you will:
• Define and drive a unified, comprehensive test strategy across all program streams, ensuring full coverage, resource alignment, and budget adherence
• Develop integrated test plans and traceability matrices covering application functionality, data migration, workflows, and reporting
• Establish and govern a stage gate assurance framework across preparation, cutover, go-live, and post-go-live validation phases
• Lead execution oversight across all QA workstreams, proactively identifying risks and driving issue and defect resolution
• Design and implement mock, parallel run, and automation-first testing strategies in collaboration with business and technology teams

What you need to have to be considered
• 15+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, including at least 5 years in program-level test management
• Proven experience working with client IT and business executive leadership, with strong stakeholder and communication skills
• Demonstrated expertise in developing test strategies, plans, and execution frameworks for functional, system integration, and end-to-end testing in large transformation programs
• Hands-on experience with automation-first testing approaches and CI/CD environments
• Strong skills in risk management, defect resolution, and delivery oversight across complex QA programs
These will help you stand out
• Experience leveraging AI/ML or GenAI tools to enhance testing efficiency and quality
• Experience with data testing and Oracle Finance modules
• Hands-on experience with Tosca or similar automation platforms
• Exposure to large-scale enterprise transformation programs involving data migration and system integration
• Strong ability to collaborate across business and technical teams to drive testing innovation

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $83,250 - $131,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
