About the role
As an SAP CO Senior Consultant, you will make an impact by leading and optimizing Controlling (CO) processes that support financial transparency, cost management, and strategic decision‑making. You will be a valued member of the SAP Finance team and collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable, best‑practice SAP solutions that drive operational and financial efficiency.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the functional design, configuration, and support of SAP CO processes
- Analyze business and financial requirements and translate them into SAP CO solutions
- Configure and optimize core CO components such as Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, and Profitability Analysis (CO‑PA)
- Support integrations between SAP FI and CO, ensuring data consistency and accuracy
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align controlling solutions with business objectives
- Provide functional expertise, troubleshooting, and support for SAP CO incidents and enhancements
- Participate in workshops, requirement‑gathering sessions, and user training activities
- Ensure adherence to SAP best practices, governance standards, and proper documentation
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and process optimization

What you must have to be considered
- Ample experience as a functional consultant working with SAP CO
- Strong hands‑on knowledge of core SAP CO modules and financial controlling processes
- Solid understanding of financial reporting, cost control, and profitability analysis
- Experience working in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA environments
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Effective communication skills and ability to work with cross‑functional teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
These will help you stand out
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance transformations
- SAP certifications in Controlling (CO)
- Knowledge of integration with other SAP modules (FI, MM, SD, PP)
- Experience working in complex or multinational environments
