Job Summary

Join our team as an Application Security Engineer where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the security and integrity of our applications and systems. With a focus on Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory administration you will contribute to safeguarding our digital infrastructure while collaborating in a hybrid work model.


Responsibilities

  • Implement robust security measures to protect applications and systems from vulnerabilities and threats.
  • Monitor and manage Microsoft Entra ID to ensure secure identity and access management across the organization.
  • Administer Active Directory environments ensuring optimal configuration and security compliance.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into application development and deployment processes.
  • Provide technical expertise in resolving security-related incidents and ensuring timely remediation.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for security policies procedures and configurations.
  • Stay updated on emerging security trends and technologies to proactively address potential challenges.
  • Support the design and implementation of secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
  • Assist in the creation and enforcement of security standards and guidelines across the organization.
  • Conduct training sessions to raise awareness of security protocols among team members.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational security requirements.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of security frameworks and processes. Qualifications
  • Possess strong expertise in Microsoft Entra ID with hands-on experience in managing identity and access solutions.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Active Directory administration including configuration troubleshooting and security management.
  • Have a solid understanding of application security principles and practices.
  • Showcase experience in conducting security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities.
  • Exhibit knowledge of secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
  • Display familiarity with hybrid work environments and the ability to collaborate effectively in such settings.
  • Hold a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in application security engineering.
  • Showcase excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve complex security issues.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills to effectively convey security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Possess a proactive mindset to stay ahead of emerging security threats and technologies.
  • Exhibit a commitment to maintaining high standards of security and compliance.
  • Have experience in creating and maintaining security documentation and policies.

  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Microsoft Certified: Security Compliance and Identity Fundamentals
