Cognizant’s Digital Engineering practice is looking for a highly skilled Lead .NET Developer to join our team and work directly at our client’s location. This role demands the end-to-end development of robust, scalable applications while acting as a technical consultant to the client. You will lead the architectural design, mentor junior developers, and ensure that the technical solutions align perfectly with the client’s business objectives.

Roles/Responsibilities:
•Application Development:
Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable code using the .NET framework
•Client Collaboration:
Act as the primary technical point of contact at the client site. Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
•Code Quality:
Conduct thorough code reviews and implement unit/integration testing to ensure the highest quality standards.
•Mentorship:
Guide and support junior-to-mid-level developers, fostering a collaborative and high-output environment.
Required Qualifications:
Technical Skills
· 8+ years of experience as a .NET Developer
Strong experience with:
- C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, WebForms
- Entity Framework, LINQ
- RESTful APIs / Web API development
· Experience across full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
· Strong database skills:
- SQL Server and/or Oracle
- Writing queries, stored procedures, and performance optimization
· Experience migrating legacy applications to modern .NET versions (e.g., .NET 6/8)
· Familiarity with DevOps practices:
- CI/CD pipelines
- Version control (Git)
Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until June 6th 2026.
The annual salary for this position is between $ 81,337 - $ 141,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
