Job Summary
We are looking for a highly detailed and technical Google Cloud Marketplace Solution Validation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong quality assurance skills a deep understanding of cloud solution testing and expert knowledge of VM K8 SaaS AI Agents and Terraform environments. In your role as a Google Cloud Marketplace Solution Validation Specialist you will be crucial in ensuring that customer solutions meet all technical security and quality standards
Responsibilities
- Technical Validation & QA- Perform comprehensive technical validation and quality assurance testing for customer solutions (VMs Containers/K8s AI Agents and SaaS) submitted to Google Cloud Marketplace. Compliance Testing: Ensure all solutions adhere to the latest Google Cloud security billing and entitlement API integration requirements. Process Management: Coordinate the validation lifecycle between Google engineering teams internal stakeholders and external partners. Troubleshooting: Analyze and diagnose complex technical issues during the validation phase specifically related to deployment integration and functionality. Deployment Expertise: Deep knowledge of Terraform or Deployment Manager focusing on testing deployment scripts to ensure products deploy reliably via Marketplace. Container Validation: Proficiency with Docker and Google Artifact Registry with skills to troubleshoot Kubernetes deployment and configuration issues during validation. API Integration Testing: Skill in working with RESTful APIs to test the integration with Marketplace Procurement and Entitlement APIs (crucial for SaaS solution validation). Audit and Cost Analysis: Perform audits on infrastructure cost and labeling for solutions and analyze solutions based on architecture diagrams and GCP infrastructure cost spend. Integrate infra cost in Google Cloud and maintain visibility over GCP marketplace spend. Deployment & Governance: Validate and streamline launcher types (VM SaaS Kubernetes Professional Services) and maintain governance for Private Marketplace including identifying the deployment types in GCP Marketplace and inheriting solutions from Partners. Documentation & Reporting: Document validation findings test plans test reports and create SOPs for process and technical validation. Communicate necessary corrective actions to partners. Automation: Basic knowledge of Python or any other scripting language for automating validation tasks and troubleshooting backend integration issues.
