About the Role Our ITS Operations Products team (ITSOP) is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade AI solutions. You'll lead LLM integration initiatives, build agentic AI applications, and collaborate across teams to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
What You'll Do
- Architect and deploy scalable, secure cloud-based AI solutions leveraging LLMs from Google and OpenAI
- Build applications using LangChain, LangGraph, vector databases, and text embeddings
- Integrate Azure services (Functions, API Management, Cosmos DB, Cognitive Services, Databricks, and more) into production AI systems
- Lead performance monitoring using Splunk and AppInsights; ensure security and compliance
- Mentor team members and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Stay current with AI advancements to continuously improve enterprise search and AI solutions
What You Bring
Technical:
- Proficiency in Python; hands-on experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Proven experience with LangChain, LangGraph, agentic AI, and prompt engineering
- Strong knowledge of Azure and/or Google Cloud platforms
- Experience with vector databases, NLP, and generative AI models
Professional:
- 3–5 years in AI development and implementation
- Background in cloud-native and hybrid web development
- Experience with AI governance and enterprise-scale deployments
Soft Skills:
- Strong communicator with excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments
Qualifications Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field.
Compensation: - $Base Salary + COLA and this position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and COLA, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans. Application will be accepted by 6/4/2026
