About the role
We are looking for an Engineering Lead to design, develop, and maintain cloud infrastructure services on the VMware Aria Automation platform. You will take technical ownership of self-service provisioning, platform integrations, and Day-2 automation — working closely with infrastructure and DevOps teams to deliver scalable, reliable cloud services.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain cloud templates, orchestration workflows, and service catalog items on the VMware Aria Automation platform to enable self-service infrastructure provisioning.
- Manage integrations with cloud environments (vSphere, AWS, Azure), ITSM tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Enforce governance frameworks, RBAC policies, and approval workflows to ensure compliance and security.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and DevOps teams to automate Day-2 operations.
- Drive platform lifecycle management and ensure reliable, scalable delivery of cloud services.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering team members.
Required skills
- Hands-on expertise with VMware Aria Automation, including cloud templates, ABX actions, and service catalog design.
- Strong understanding of vSphere and experience integrating with AWS and Azure.
- Experience implementing RBAC, governance policies, and approval workflows.
- Solid background in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with ITSM tools and service management processes.
