Cognizant is seeking an Azure Databricks Admin for a full-time remote opportunity. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US. Cognizant will not offer visa sponsorship for this role now or anytime in the future.
Responsibilities:
- Design & implement the ‘Databricks delta sharing’ model across the board + the affiliates!
- Deploy Databricks Workspaces
- Onboard new applications to Databricks and help application teams to migrate.
- Build & Configure Unity Catalogs
- Troubleshoot & fix any access issues for App teams to Databricks workspaces.
- Designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines and workflows.
- Creating and maintaining data models and ensuring data quality.
- Troubleshoot & Fix Azure Kubernetes Services issues with Pods, Nodes, Quotas, etc.
- Deploy Azure NSGs, Log Analytics Workspaces, Key Vaults, etc.
- Exposure on Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Postgres.
- Work closely with Microsoft on upcoming features in Azure.
Qualifications:
- 5 plus years of hands-on experience with Azure Databricks Administration.
- 6 years of experience with AKS
- 3 plus years of experience with Azure Administration.
The salary range for this role is between $114,000 and $133,000 depending on skills and qualifications of the candidate. Applications will be accepted till 5/20/2026.
