About the role
As a Senior Test Engineer, you will make an impact by designing, building, and maintaining robust test plans and automation solutions that ensure high quality application delivery. You will be a valued member of the engineering team and work collaboratively with client development teams, architects, and production engineering stakeholders to improve reliability, scalability, and overall system performance.
In this role, you will:
• Design and build comprehensive test plans and test cases for applications under development.
• Collaborate closely with development and architecture teams to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Enhance build, test, and deployment automation to improve speed, reliability, and coverage.
• Drive improvements to automated deployment solutions and proactive monitoring across environments.
• Support production engineering applications and contribute to issue prevention and resolution efforts.
Work model: Onsite

What you need to have to be considered
• 6+ years of experience in test automation for enterprise applications.
• Strong experience designing test plans, test cases, and automation frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with build and test automation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience supporting production engineering applications and environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Experience working closely with distributed development and architecture teams.
• Exposure to infrastructure automation and cloud integration solutions.
• Ability to instill best practices and a business user mindset across the development cycle.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $53,477– $92,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
