About the role

As an Oracle SCM Solution Architect, you will make an impact by leading the end-to-end functional design, architecture, and delivery of Oracle Cloud SCM solutions that support enterprise-wide finance and supply chain transformation initiatives. You will be a valued member of the Enterprise Applications team and work collaboratively with CFO organizations, Finance leaders, business stakeholders, technical architects, data engineers, and project managers to deliver scalable, best-practice Oracle SCM solutions across complex client environments.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and own the end-to-end functional architecture and solution design for Oracle Cloud SCM implementations, ensuring alignment with business, financial, and transformation objectives.

  • Drive functional delivery across key SCM modules including OM, Shipping, Pricing, Purchasing (PO), Order-to-Cash (OTC), CPQ, and Product Data Hub (PDH).

  • Partner closely with senior business, finance, and executive stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable, high-performing SCM solutions.

  • Oversee configuration, integrations, data mappings, UAT cycles, and deployment activities to ensure quality, compliance, and successful business adoption.

  • Establish governance, enablement, and continuous improvement frameworks, including training, change management, and roadmap-driven enhancements.

What you need to have to be considered

  • 15+ years of hands-on experience delivering Oracle SCM solutions for large, complex enterprise environments.

  • Proven leadership of at least 5 full lifecycle Oracle SCM implementations in a lead functional or solution architect role.

  • Deep functional expertise across Oracle SCM modules including OM, Shipping, Pricing, Purchasing (PO), OTC, CPQ, and PDH.

  • Strong experience partnering with Finance, FP&A, and executive stakeholders to drive transformation initiatives.

  • Experience overseeing integrations between Oracle SCM, Oracle Fusion, Oracle EBS, or third-party ERP and GL systems.

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% to client sites as required.

These will help you stand out

  • MBA, CPA, or equivalent advanced business or finance qualification.

  • Oracle Cloud certifications across SCM or related Oracle Cloud applications.

  • Experience applying AI-enabled or intelligent automation ways of working within ERP or SCM programs.

  • Background in consulting or professional services environments supporting multiple client engagements.

Work model: Remote with up to 50% travel.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $116,500 - $180,000 depending on experience, location, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
