Build and manage automated dashboards, SLOs, custom metrics, and alerting workflows.

Observability & APM

Instrument and monitor microservices, Kubernetes workloads, and serverless functions using Dynatrace auto-instrumentation and OpenTelemetry.
Configure distributed tracing, service dependency mapping, and DAVIS AI anomaly detection rules.
Integrate Dynatrace with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) for shift-left observability.
Develop custom dashboards using DQL (Dynatrace Query Language) and Notebooks.

Integration & Automation

Integrate Dynatrace SaaS with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira), PagerDuty, Splunk, and Slack for alerting and incident workflows.
Automate configuration lifecycle management using Monaco, Terraform, and REST API scripting (Python/Shell).
Implement Dynatrace as part of a broader AIOps and Platform Engineering strategy.

Collaboration & Documentation

Partner with cloud architects, SRE teams, and application owners during migration waves and go-live events.
Create and maintain runbooks, migration guides, and architecture documentation.
Provide knowledge transfer sessions and training for internal teams post-migration.
Participate in on-call rotation to support production observability incidents.

Required Skills & Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on experience with Dynatrace, including both Managed and SaaS deployments.
Proven experience leading Dynatrace Managed to SaaS migrations in enterprise environments.
Strong proficiency with Dynatrace components: OneAgent, ActiveGate, synthetic monitors, RUM, session replay, log management, and DQL.
Experience with monitoring-as-code tooling: Monaco, Dynatrace Terraform Provider, and Dynatrace REST APIs.
Hands-on experience deploying and managing observability across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
Familiarity with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and microservices architectures.
Experience integrating Dynatrace with ITSM and alerting platforms (ServiceNow, Jira, PagerDuty, Splunk, Slack).
Scripting skills in Python and/or Shell for automation and API interactions.
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
