About the Role
As a Senior Engagement Manager, you will make an impact by leading complex ServiceNow engagements and ensuring successful delivery outcomes for our clients. You will be a valued member of the Services team and work collaboratively with client stakeholders, delivery teams, business analysts, project managers, and executive leadership to drive customer success from project initiation through deployment and closure. In this role, you will:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of ServiceNow projects, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, budget, and client objectives.
- Build trusted client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact throughout the engagement lifecycle.
- Drive project governance, risk management, resource planning, forecasting, and change control activities.
- Partner with stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities and develop effective delivery strategies.
- Lead client meetings, executive reporting, and communication of project health, milestones, risks, and outcomes.
- Facilitate successful sales-to-delivery transitions and ensure teams are aligned on client objectives and success criteria.
- Manage client escalations proactively while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Identify growth opportunities through cross-selling and upselling while supporting long-term client success.

What You Need to Have to Be Considered
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 10+ years of project, program, or engagement management experience within consulting or professional services organizations.
- Proven experience leading large-scale technology or ServiceNow delivery engagements.
- Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, project governance, risk management, budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning.
- Experience managing executive stakeholders and client-facing relationships.
- Scrum Master certification required.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience driving customer success, managing escalations, and delivering measurable business outcomes.
These Will Help You Stand Out
- PMP certification.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
- 6+ years of ServiceNow delivery or platform experience.
- Experience in Organizational Change Management (OCM) and transformation initiatives.
- Knowledge of project portfolio management, value stream management, and process improvement methodologies.
- Experience leading geographically distributed teams and global delivery programs.

The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $140,000 - $160,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
