Job summary

As a Digital Workplace Solution Architect associate to provide end to end solutions for enterprise customers across the region including architecture design and implementation. Digital Workplace Solutions includes Service Desk end user support and end user computing platform transformation and migration services as well as encompassing key components of a modern digital workplace such as analytics AI automation cloud workplace and mobility.


Responsibilities

  • Workplace technologies: Device Migration between domains VDI (Azure Virtual desktop) Ac-tive Directory/Azure AD print service MAC OS deployment setup of SCCM/Intune Configur-ing Autopilot in Intune understanding on Imaging Packaging Patching & Distribution Tools Virtualization technologies like VMware Horizon/ESX Nexthink Citrix XenApp/Xen Desktop
  • Unified Communication & Collaboration: Setup/configure migrate Exchange online Microsoft Teams. Migrate from traditional Telephony and Video endpoints Implementation & Integra-tion. Setup/configure Identity and Access management Migrate the applications to Azure IAM solutions and configure SSO
  • Have good understanding on M365 security tools like Microsoft defender for Endpoint Mi-crosoft defender for Cloud Apps DLP Information protection policies to protect environment and data

    Analyse enterprise business context (trends & business strategy) as well as change requirements in other architecture viewpoints to derive future state of End User computing Unified Communication Messaging & collaboration.

    Work closely with Business IT Portfolio Service Owners HR and facility managers to create Digital workplace strategy for different Persona & Geo

    Creating future state service architecture for enabling work from home based on modern Virtual Workplace solutions VDI (Citrix & VMWare) & Other digital workplace solutions

    Design build and delivery of established cloud & on prem productivity and collaboration tools (e.g. Microsoft Office 365 G Suite WebEx Zoom Intune etc.)

    Integration of various Unified communication and collaboration platforms

    Setup and configure Identity and access management solutions. Configure SSO for the migrated applications

    Lead copilot initiatives for adoption development and deployment

    Lead facilitate and communicate the creation of end point standards current future state architecture to guide design and decision making of endpoint point solutions & catalogue for business / users to consume.

    Define roadmaps to address the gap between current / future state. Ensure plans aligns across End Point UCS and Security. Identify Org. level impacts of roadmaps and decisions.

    Drive architecture board review and enable right level of design is being undertaken for the benefit of the Enterprise.

    Consult project program app & service owner to fit digital workplace architecture assignments and identify need to modify to attain project requirements. Maintain the architecture blueprints for General workload Project Specific Needs and Customer managed

    This role will be expected to work with Service Owners of Infrastructure & Operations team Business teams Security teams Enterprise Architects within EA Employees and Solutions Architect in App Data and Infra teams.

    Technical Skills required

    Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices for all M365 technologies that include End User Computing and Mobility solutions and technologies keeping current with industry trends and emerging technologies and providing guidance and direction to customers and project teams.

    Strong expertise in the Microsoft stack including Windows 10/11 EMS Suite Azure AD M365.

    Experience of impact of various levels of MS Enterprise Agreement

    Technical knowledge of Virtual Desktop solutions (Citrix App V) and Mobile Device Management (InTune Mobile Iron Airwatch).

    Experience with Office 365 SfB Lotus Notes Google Mail Google Docs.

    Experience in Microsoft Co pilot and Copilot agent development and deployment.

    Strong technical knowledge of Directory Services (LDAP Active Directory)

    5+ years experience as an End User Compute Architect.

    10+ years experience with Microsoft Workplace solutions

    Must be well versed in and have experience IT policies and procedures and technology standards

    Experience in leading a team in applying all elements of Technical Consulting

    Excellent communication & interpersonal skills

    Consulting skills required

    Passionate persuasive articulating End User Computing and Mobility Concepts and solutions capable of quickly establishing interest and credibility.

    Strong written verbal and chalk board skills

    Strong leadership organisational and Management skills

    Experience in working in Prince2 or PMI methodology managed project


    Certifications Required

    TOGAF or equivalent certification

    Certification in M36 technologies

    Azure certification or working towards certification.
