Job Summary
Cognizant is seeking a GRC Specialist (Risk Project Manager) to support information risk and control assurance initiatives within complex technology environments. This role is responsible for managing risk-related projects, coordinating control testing activities, supporting audits, and working closely with application and technology teams to remediate identified issues. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in Information Risk Management and Audit standards, combined with proven project management and stakeholder engagement skills.

In this role, you will:
Manage and coordinate risk and compliance projects across technology and application landscapes
Define and manage project scope, requirements, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business and risk objectives
Perform and oversee IT and security control testing, including documentation of results and identification of gaps
Partner with application, infrastructure, and security teams to remediate control deficiencies and risk issues
Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, driving timely issue resolution
Support internal and external audits, including evidence collection, audit response coordination, and issue tracking
Maintain accurate risk, control, and audit records using ServiceNow (SNOW) – Audit Management Module
Communicate project status, risks, and findings effectively to stakeholders and leadership
What you need to have to be considered
· Experience in Information Risk Management (IRM) and audit-related activities
· Hands-on experience with:
o Control Testing
o Risk Management
o Control Implementation
o Issue remediation and tracking
· Familiarity with security architecture concepts and control compliance
· Experience managing project deliverables within a technology landscape
· Experience with ServiceNow (SNOW), specifically the Audit Management Module, is highly desirable

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $[100,000 - 115,000] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
