About the role

As a Senior Full Stack Educator (SFSE) you will drive impactful contributions and focus on outcomes. You will be a key member of the Corporate Learning & Development team, collaborating with in-house Full Stack Educator ecosystem who own end-to-end learning life-cycle. Senior Full Stack Educator (SFSE) is a master facilitator and recognized subject matter expert (SME) who independently designs and delivers complex, high‑stakes technical learning programs. This role owns full‑cycle responsibility for advanced skilling interventions—ranging from curriculum architecture to live delivery and capability development of other educators.

SFSE leads learning from the front, acting as the quality benchmark across programs, mentors Full Stack Educators (FSEs) and Teaching Assistants (TAs), and ensures deep technical rigor, learner readiness, and consistency at scale.

In this role, you will:

Lead end‑to‑end high‑complexity programs

  • Own full‑cycle learning programs from design to independent delivery
  • Architect advanced curricula, capstone projects, and enterprise‑grade simulations
  • Customize interventions for senior, diverse, or high‑expectation learner audiences
  • Ensure learners can design, explain, defend, and demo technical solutions

Master‑level facilitation

  • Independently deliver all session types across all 3 proficiency levels (PL1 - Beginner / Learner, PL2 - Intermediate / Practitioner, PL3 - Advanced / Expert)
  • Lead live coding, architecture deep dives, debugging sessions, and design reviews
  • Manage challenging classroom dynamics and senior stakeholder interactions
  • Serve as the primary face of learning excellence for flagship programs

Own curriculum & content quality

  • Lead design of high‑complexity technical programs
  • Review, validate, and approve content developed by TA’s and FSE’s
  • Own curriculum architecture for key technical domains
  • Ensure content is current, industry‑relevant, and deployment‑ready

Champion AI‑first learning

  • Actively champion AI integration across learning programs
  • Identify opportunities to scale facilitation, assessment, or personalization using AI tools
  • Guide educators on responsible and effective use of AI in learning delivery
  • Improve learning efficiency and impact through technology enablement

Mentor & build educator capability

  • Mentor and coach TA’s and FSE’s
  • Conduct facilitation reviews, quality audits, and feedback sessions
  • Build facilitator capability in client associates and internal teams
  • Serve as the quality and facilitation benchmark for the L&D ecosystem

Build Cognizant product & platform competency

  • Develop and maintain deep, hands-on competency across all Cognizant products and platforms (including but not limited to Neuro‑SAN, Neuro‑OPS, and other Cognizant proprietary platforms) — stay current as platforms evolve and new products are launched
  • Design and deliver platform-specific training programs for associates, enabling them to confidently adopt and apply Cognizant platforms in their day-to-day work and client engagements
  • Partner with product owners and platform SMEs to ensure learning content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned to the latest product releases and roadmap
  • Serve as the internal learning authority for Cognizant platforms — enabling FSEs and TAs to deliver platform training confidently across GenC and associate skilling programs

What you must have to be considered

  • Experience: 13–17 years in technical education, engineering, or advanced facilitation roles

· Full stack capabilities in at least 2 or more of these technologies (Java / .NET / C# / Python / COBOL) with strong hands-on proficiency across programming, frontend, backend, database, cloud and DevOps, testing, AI tools and frameworks.

Programming: Java / .NET / C# / Python / COBOL

Frontend: React / Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS

Backend: Java (Spring Boot) / .NET / Node.js / Python

Databases: SQL, Oracle SQL, MongoDB

Testing: Selenium, unit testing, automation fundamentals

Cloud & DevOps: AWS / Azure / GCP, Git, CI/CD, Containers

AI & GenAI (mandatory): GenAI tools, AI-assisted coding, prompt engineering, RAG, and automation frameworks — active proficiency and periodic upskilling required

  • Proven experience delivering complex technical programs independently
  • Deep subject mastery across full stack technologies
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, and executive presence
  • Ability to engage and influence senior or challenging audiences
  • Curriculum architecture and advanced program design capability
  • Consulting orientation with high credibility among stakeholders
  • Willing to travel across Cognizant locations where GenC batches are onboarded

These will help you succeed

  • Demonstrated proficiency in AI‑enabled learning tools, GenAI-assisted development, and applied AI in facilitation and assessment; must actively upskill on emerging AI capabilities on a periodic basis to stay current and credible
  • Hands-on proficiency in all Cognizant products and platforms (Neuro‑SAN, Neuro‑OPS, and others); ability to design, deliver, and continuously update platform-specific training for associates; personal commitment to upskilling as the Cognizant product portfolio evolves

Work model

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is an onsite position requiring 5 days a week in a Cognizant office in Chennai, Siruseri, Tamil Nadu.
