We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize enterprise-grade Oracle database environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installation, configuration, performance tuning, security, backup and recovery, and 24/7 production support of mission‑critical databases. This role requires strong technical expertise across Oracle versions (19c/21c/23c) and the ability to collaborate closely with application and infrastructure teams.

In this role, you will

  • Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Oracle database software and tools, including Oracle 19c, 21c, and 23c, across multiple environments.
  • Proactively monitor database health and performance, identifying bottlenecks and conducting root‑cause analysis.
  • Perform advanced performance tuning by optimizing SQL queries, indexes, memory, and storage to ensure maximum efficiency and stability.
  • Design, implement, and maintain backup and recovery strategies using RMAN, ensuring high availability and data integrity.
  • Regularly test disaster recovery and restoration processes to support business continuity requirements.
  • Implement and manage database security controls, including user access, roles, privileges, and compliance with security standards.
  • Collaborate with application development teams on database design, schema changes, data migrations, and performance optimization.
  • Provide 24/7 production support for critical Oracle database environments, resolving incidents, outages, and performance issues within defined SLAs.

What you’ll need to succeed (required skills)

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator or similar role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Databases 19c / 21c / 23c.
  • Expertise in installation, upgrades, patching, and configuration of Oracle databases.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL performance tuning and database optimization techniques.
  • Proven experience with RMAN backup and recovery strategies.
  • Solid understanding of Oracle security concepts and access control.
  • Experience supporting high‑availability and mission‑critical production environments.
