Job Summary
Serve as an Architect with strong expertise in Vermilion Developer database design and SQL to deliver scalable analytics solutions supporting complex insurance business requirements within a global multinational environment. Collaborate with distributed onsite and remote teams to convert stakeholder needs into secure high performance data models and actionable visual insights that enable informed decision making and measurable business outcomes.
Responsibilities
Platform Configuration
Implement configure and customize the Vermilion Reporting Suite to align with specific client investment reporting needs.
Technical Integration
Design build and manage data integrations between the Vermilion platform and external systems including SQL Server Oracle market data platforms and structured data interfaces.
Workflow Automation
Develop test and support automated reporting workflows and scheduled batch processing to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
Report Development
Create high quality branded reports and templates in multiple output formats to support diverse asset classes.
Testing and Troubleshooting
Perform system testing data validation root cause analysis and issue resolution to maintain reporting accuracy and optimal platform performance.
Required Technical and Professional Skills
Domain Expertise
Eight to ten years of experience in enterprise software implementation within financial services or asset management environments.
Core Technical Skills
Strong expertise in SQL using MS SQL and Oracle data transformation processes and database troubleshooting.
Vermilion Experience
In depth knowledge of Vermilion modules APIs data models and report design capabilities.
Financial Knowledge
Solid understanding of performance measurement client reporting and portfolio data across fixed income equity and derivative asset classes.
Soft Skills
Excellent project management communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work across global teams.
Additional Tools
Experience with Power BI for data visualization and analytics.
Certifications Required
Preferred certifications include Oracle Business Intelligence Foundation Suite or Oracle Analytics certification and Oracle Database SQL certification.
