About the role
As a Senior Business Analyst – Guidewire PolicyCenter, you will make an impact by driving business transformation initiatives within the Property & Casualty insurance domain. You will be a valued member of the delivery team and work collaboratively with product owners, developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to define, shape, and deliver scalable Guidewire solutions.
In this role, you will:
- Lead business analysis activities for Guidewire PolicyCenter implementations, including requirement gathering, documentation, validation, and delivery support
- Facilitate inception workshops and requirement sessions to define scope, prioritize features, and align stakeholders
- Translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements, ensuring alignment with project objectives
- Partner with development and QA teams to clarify requirements, review test cases, and ensure successful delivery outcomes
- Act as a functional SME across programs, supporting stakeholders with domain expertise and driving continuous improvements

What you need to have to be considered
- Strong experience in Property & Casualty insurance domain, with expertise in business processes and regulatory requirements
- Proven hands-on experience as a Lead or Senior Business Analyst in Guidewire PolicyCenter implementations
- Experience leading business analysis activities including requirement elicitation, workshops, documentation, and stakeholder management
- Ability to define system scope, analyze business needs, and translate them into structured requirements and solutions
- Experience collaborating in Agile environments, including sprint ceremonies, demos, and backlog refinement
These will help you stand out
- Experience with Guidewire digital or E&SS (Enterprise & Self-Service) implementations
- Workers’ Compensation domain knowledge
- Cloud implementation or digital transformation project experience
- Guidewire certifications (ACE, Professional, or Analyst)
- Certifications in Agile frameworks (SAFe, JIRA) or relevant insurance domain certifications
Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until June 27, 2025.
The annual salary for this position is between $88,000 - $155,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
