Role: Command Center Analyst

Location: Remote

Mandatory Skill: Command Center Engineer

Key Responsibilities

1. Real-Time Monitoring & Alert Management

· Monitor enterprise applications, infrastructure, and dashboards (24x7 / shift-based)

· Track alerts across multiple technology towers (Network, Unix, Windows, DB, etc.)

· Perform initial analysis and triage of alerts/incidents

2. Incident Management & Major Incident Handling

· Own major incident coordination (P1/P2) from detection to resolution

· Initiate war rooms / bridge calls and engage relevant support teams

· Ensure incidents are acknowledged and acted upon within defined SLAs

3. Escalation & Coordination

· Coordinate with L2/L3/SRE teams for troubleshooting and resolution

· Manage cross-functional communication across multiple technology towers

· Drive escalations for unresolved or critical issues

4. Executive & Critical Incident Handling

· Handle high-priority and executive-level incidents/inquiries

· Gather required data from technical teams and ensure closure with approvals

5. Reporting & Operational Visibility

Prepare and share:

· Daily health check reports

· Incident summaries

· Pulse/operational dashboards

6. Compliance & Risk Monitoring

· Ensure adherence to:

· Security policies

· Privacy protocols

· Regulatory requirements

· 7. Batch Job & Scheduler Monitoring (Optional / Program-Specific)

· Monitor job schedulers (e.g., Tivoli Workload Scheduler / Control-M)

· Validate job executions, SLAs, and dependencies

Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for the position is between $60,000- $73,000/year and depends on experience and other qualifications. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
