Job Summary:
We are looking for a results-driven Software Test Engineer with strong experience in performance, stress, and functional testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in test automation, data analysis, and working with cross-functional teams to improve product quality and reduce manual effort.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform performance, stress, and functional testing across software and hardware platforms.
- Conduct power and battery performance testing to validate product quality and ensure alignment with business requirements.
- Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated and manual test scripts for various user scenarios, including voice assistant and mobile workflows.
- Use tools like Python and Git for scripting, automation, and version control.
- Analyze large datasets and telemetry to identify issues, validate results, and provide insights to improve system performance.
- Work closely with development teams to identify, prioritize, and resolve defects in a timely manner.
- Implement automation strategies to reduce manual testing efforts and increase testing efficiency.
- Use AI-driven approaches and prompt engineering techniques to improve test coverage and scalability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in software testing (performance, stress, and functional testing).
- Strong knowledge of test automation and scripting (Python preferred).
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Ability to analyze data and perform root cause analysis.
- Familiarity with voice assistant, mobile testing, or consumer device testing is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with telemetry data analysis and performance tuning.
- Exposure to AI-driven testing or prompt engineering.
- Experience working with Microsoft products or similar ecosystems.
