Job Summary : Serve as a principal product architect for enterprise grade Duck Creek based insurance solutions owning end to end architecture for rating and policy administration guiding product evolution and ensuring scalable secure and high performing platforms in a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required. 3. Responsibilities : -Define holistic product and platform architecture for Duck Creek rating and policy solutions that align with enterprise strategy and support long term scalability and performance goals. -Drive the end to end design of Duck Creek rating configurations and integration patterns to enable accurate rating outcomes and rapid introduction of new insurance products. -Architect Duckcreek PolicyCenter implementations that streamline policy lifecycle processes from quote to bind and renewal while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. -Design and validate Duck Creek core solution blueprints that balance configurability with maintainability and enable efficient reuse of components across multiple product lines. -Collaborate with product management teams to translate business roadmaps into clear architectural epics and technical capabilities that can be implemented incrementally. -Coordinate with engineering teams to define nonfunctional requirements including performance scalability security and resilience and ensure these are embedded into solution designs. -Review solution designs and implementation approaches proposed by feature teams to ensure alignment with Duck Creek best practices and established architectural guardrails. -Provide hands on guidance on complex Duck Creek rating rules configuration product model structures and reference data design to reduce defects and production issues. -Establish integration strategies with upstream and downstream systems such as billing claims document management and data platforms using robust service interfaces. -Create and maintain architecture documentation such as reference architectures decision records and integration maps to give teams clear and reusable guidance. -Partner with quality engineering teams to define architecture relevant test strategies including performance testing and regression coverage for Duck Creek changes. -Mentor senior engineers and configuration specialists by explaining architectural decisions patterns and anti patterns in the Duck Creek ecosystem. -Engage with enterprise security and risk stakeholders to incorporate security controls data protection practices and audit needs into product architecture. -Optimize cloud or data center deployment patterns for Duck Creek components to achieve efficient resource utilization and predictable operational costs. -Continuously evaluate new Duck Creek platform features and industry trends and recommend adoption strategies that deliver tangible value for the organization and its customers. -Qualifications -Demonstrate extensive experience working with Duck Creek rating including configuration of complex rating algorithms rate books and rating worksheets for commercial or personal lines. -Show deep hands on exposure to Duckcreek PolicyCenter including product definition policy transactions workflows and rules configuration in large scale environments. -Apply strong knowledge of Duck Creek core architecture such as product model data model and integration framework to design resilient enterprise implementations. -Bring proven background of fourteen to eighteen years in product or solution architecture with significant focus on insurance policy administration systems. -Use solid understanding of software architecture principles including domain driven design event driven integration and microservice based patterns where applicable to Duck Creek. -Exhibit proficiency in working with relational databases application servers and integration middleware commonly used in Duck Creek deployments. -Communicate complex architectural concepts clearly to technical and nontechnical partners using structured documentation and visual models. -Operate effectively in a hybrid work model demonstrating strong collaboration skills across distributed teams and comfort with remote first ways of working. -Apply knowledge of agile delivery methods to support incremental delivery of Duck Creek capabilities and to refine architectural direction based on feedback. 9.
