Job Summary

Serve as a functional lead for SAP solutions in a hybrid work model, focusing on service execution workbench, work management, field service management, service contracts, energy data management, device management and billing while applying generative AI techniques to streamline business processes and provide data driven insights for utilities and related industries.


The EAM resource(s) should have the following skillset:

  1. Extensive EAM experience managing the E2E process and integration with third-party applications like GIS/ESRI Collector, Workforce, Field Maps, Survey123, Outage Management System(Schneider ADMS).
  2. Extensive experience working with SAP Service and Asset Manager (SSAM).
  3. Extensive experience working with Sync4GEF with the ability to troubleshoot issues with the third-party applications.
  4. Extensive experience working with the scheduling system like OverIT, Field Service Management(FSM).
  5. Extensive experience working with Project systems and integration with EAM and Finance.
  6. Extensive experience working with the New Construction Process, Engineering department for Capital Work, Utilities Transmission and Distribution, Substation Operations, Linear Asset Management, Compatible Units.

Typical profile will be of a candidate who has done multiple SAP S/4HANA implementations and AMS projects with 8-15 years of experience.


Responsibilities

  • - Lead end to end functional design of SAP EAM processes to ensure compliant and efficient handling of complex customer and asset scenarios in utilities and similar industries. - Coordinate configuration of SAP customer care services to optimize customer interaction flows billing inquiries and service requests while improving overall satisfaction scores. - Drive definition and maintenance of SAP service contracts ensuring accurate terms pricing and lifecycle management that support predictable revenue recognition and regulatory alignment. - Oversee design of SAP work management processes to enable efficient scheduling execution and closure of field work orders with a strong focus on safety quality and cost control. - Manage functional setup of SAP energy data management to support accurate metering interval data processing and energy settlement activities that enable reliable billing outcomes. - Guide configuration of SAP device management to handle full lifecycle tracking of meters and field devices including installation replacement inspection and decommissioning events. - Direct integration of SAP billing components with upstream metering and contract data so that invoices are timely accurate and aligned with complex rate structures in utilities or oil and gas contexts. - Apply generative AI capabilities to automate documentation test case generation and knowledge retrieval thereby reducing manual effort and accelerating solution delivery for project stakeholders. - Collaborate closely with business users to gather detailed requirements conduct fit gap analysis and translate operational needs into SAP functional specifications that are practical and scalable. - Support system testing activities by preparing test scenarios validating results and coordinating defect resolution to secure a stable and reliable production environment. - Provide expert guidance during cutover and post go live periods by monitoring critical transactions addressing incidents and recommending continuous improvements based on system usage trends. - Document functional designs configuration decisions and business process flows in a clear and reusable manner to support future enhancements audits and onboarding of new team members. - Mentor team members on SAP functional capabilities and industry good practices so that the overall team can deliver consistent high quality solutions to business partners. -

Certifications Required

Preferred certifications include SAP utilities associate certification and any recognized generative AI or machine learning certification from a reputed provider
